Maximizing your damage to the world boss depends on your ability to double hit. The easiest example of this is an auto attack followed by a slasher attack, timing is CRITICAL though. The best time to start your next attack is JUST before your current attack actually starts, the window of opportunity for that is so slim that you'll most often cancel your current auto attack and start your skill however. Knowing the correct timing only comes with practice.
Actual Rotation: (Delph) --> (ultimate slasher) --> (auto attack, slasher) (one turn) --> (ultimate slasher)--> (auto attack, slasher) (one turn)....... at that point you just keep trying to double attack with auto attack and slasher as often as possible to have enough rage for the next wave. If you're having trouble with rage production just leave the second ultimate slasher out of the rotation. Also, this is assuming you have 80+ rage to begin with. It's mandatory that at the beginning of each world boss you have a round devoted to simply building rage. Just double hit as often as possible with auto attack and slasher the first death to build your rage before following this rotation.
Initiation: Just before I spawn I stand on top of the boss holding down my Delph attack hotkey while furiously left clicking the screen. I generally have JUST enough time to enter the QTE before the timer runs out. Getting Delph in the first round without missing out on an attack is critical for your damage. Then hold down the ultimate slasher hotkey and continue with the rotation paying close attention to the timings.
Timing: When do you initiate your attack for double hits? For me, I have to wait just a moment until after the boss attack hits me, then I initiate my attack. Generally it's a split second before my character attacks or just at the very beginning of that animation. Learning the timing and applying it to this rotation is crucial for maximizing your damage and gold/daru generation during the World boss events.
Helpful Hint: Until you can tank at least 4 hits and live, you're going to get higher damage letting your troops take the damage for you. Once you don't die until the 5th hit however, you're better off taking the damage and allowing your troops to stay alive and adding to your damage the entire time. Even if you miss a round before the final AOE they'll have added enough damage during the fight to be worth the sacrifice.
P.S. If you're lag free enough and become fluent with the timings you'll eventually be doing auto attack + ultimate slasher one turn combos while following this rotation in addition to auto attack slasher combos. This is more advanced and much harder to pull off but don't be afraid when you see it happening. This can only improve your damage.
